Dry bones: blue jumper

“Yes, it all went well thanks.”
“Good. That’s good.”
“Well, there was one thing actually.”
“Really?”
“A small incident.”
“Mmmm?”
“Yes. Someone, a lady, left an item of clothing behind. It was a jumper. Blue. It was left on one of the seats. I found it when we were clearing all the stuff away.”
“Yes?”
“Yes. A blue jumper left on a seat in the hall. She must have left it after the speeches. Anyway, I have been assigned the task of ensuring the jumper makes its way back into the hands of its rightful owner. Smells like flowers.”
“Can’t you just put it in lost property, or something?”
“I’m helping. I was asked.”
“Seems a bit weird.”
“Well, it’s… no. I mean, I; we were keen that the jumper found its way back to its rightful owner. There was a phone call and we said I’d, I said I’d take it to her personally. I don’t mind. And it’s good to do. No one else would do it. And… her name is Julie. That’s all I know. And I am going to see her at the library tomorrow at lunchtime..”
